We have compiled a number of resources to help members of the MIT community increase their cultural awareness and cross-cultural intelligence.

Access courses from MIT and other universities and institutions around the world. MIT community members have opportunities to take courses for free or to enroll in credit-eligible courses for a fee.

  • Harvard University and MIT founded edX, an online learning platform and MOOC (massive open online course) provider that offers courses from universities and institutions around the world. Examples of previous offerings include “Communicating in a Global Context” and “Managing People from a Global Perspective.”
  • Coursera provides access to online educational content, partnering with universities and organizations to offer courses including “Intercultural Management” and “Race and Cultural Diversity in American Life and History.”

LinkedIn Learning

MIT students, faculty, and staff can access LinkedIn Learning’s video-based online learning platform. Compilations of multiple short videos can be watched and replayed at any time (MIT credentials required).

Access an array of online and in-person workshops and training opportunities available to the MIT community through the Learning Center on Atlas.
